Terms of service
The short version: we bake by hand, we ship carefully, and we'll treat you fairly. The slightly longer version follows. It applies whenever you use this site or place an order.

Who we are
Sweet Samsa (legal name SweetSamsa) is a licensed California Cottage Food Operation in Long Beach, California. As required by law, our products are labeled “Made in a Home Kitchen.”
The product
Everything we sell is handmade, perishable food. Every Samsa contains tree nuts (almond, plus pistachio, hazelnut, or pecan), dairy, and gluten, and everything is made in one kitchen that works with all three, so no box is free of cross-contact. By ordering, you confirm you've read the ingredient and allergen information and are ordering with that in mind.
Handmade means just that: small variations in shape, finish, and appearance are part of the product, not defects.
Ordering & payment
Orders are placed through our site and processed by Shopify. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change; the price at checkout is the price you pay. We ship only to addresses in California.
We may cancel and fully refund an order we can't fulfill, for example if an address is outside California or a batch doesn't meet our standard. If we ever need to do that, we'll tell you promptly.
Shipping & delivery
Shipping works as described on our Shipping & Returns page, which is part of these terms. Please double-check your delivery address (we can't recover a box shipped to a mistyped address) and bring your box inside promptly; it's perishable and insulated for transit, not for a day on a warm porch.
Problems & refunds
If an order arrives damaged, melted, or incorrect, email a photo to info@sweetsamsa.com within 48 hours of delivery and we'll replace it or refund it, your choice. Because the product is perishable, we can't accept returns.
Our content
The photography, video, text, and branding on this site belong to Sweet Samsa. Please don't reuse them commercially without asking first. We usually say yes to nice people.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If we update them, we'll change the date at the top of this page; your order is governed by the terms in effect when you placed it.
