Privacy policy
We're a small kitchen, not a data company. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you order, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

What we collect
When you place an order, we receive what's needed to fill it: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if you provide one), and the contents of your order. Checkout runs on Shopify, which processes this information on our behalf.
If you join our mailing list, we keep your email address for that purpose alone.
Payments
Payments are handled entirely by Shopify's secure payment providers. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
To bake, pack, and ship your order; to send you order and tracking updates; to answer your messages; and, only if you signed up, to send the occasional note from the kitchen. You can unsubscribe from those with one click, any time.
What we share
Only what's necessary to get pastry to your door: your order details go to Shopify (our store platform) and your name and address go to the shipping carrier that delivers your box.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
Cookies & analytics
The site uses cookies to remember your cart, and may use basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site (things like which pages are viewed, not who you are). We don't use advertising trackers.
Your choices
Want to know what information we have about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted? Email info@sweetsamsa.com and we'll take care of it. California residents have these rights under state law; we extend them to everyone as a matter of course.
